With having just completed a diploma in health science (Therapeutic Massage) and a certificate in relaxation massage. Tracey is feeling fresh and vibrant, she is all go and full of optimistic energy to attend to your muscles. Tracey has nearly two years experience with relaxation massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, sports massage and trigger point therapy. During her training at the New Zealand College of Massage Tracey said “It was a great experience, not only did I learn about the various massaging techniques, I also have a good understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology. This gives me the ability to investigate dysfunctions in the soft tissues locating possible underlying problems of the muscle and to apply massage techniques for recovery of the muscles, tendons and ligament soreness, tightness, and tension”. She has been fortunate through her training to massage the Phoenix Soccer Team for two seasons, the Wellington All Saints for one season and has been a massage therapist for the Royal New Zealand ballet. As a mature student, Tracey realized later in life the importance of massage to the physical and mental well-being of a person and wanted to help in the reduction of stress through manipulation of the muscles and tendons through various massaging techniques and homecare. Tracey is also passionate about dance and understands the importance of recovery to the muscles for the person to keep performing at their best. In her spare time, she loves to Zumba, African dance, and do yoga.
